hiatus is upon us guys and I thought this episode was alright though I did appreciate seeing a different culture represented in the show and living in Canterlot opens up so many new ideas about what other ponified countries could exist within the world of Equestria

I don't know why there are so many "haters" for this episode, because I thoroughly enjoyed it. It introduced at least two new characters, both of which had VERY good character development in the short amount of time we got to see them. And it explored the friendship with Rarity and Pinkie Pie as well as their strengths and weaknesses: Pinkie inspiring ponies to be unique and Rarity being able to assemble a crowd since she has made a name for herself outside of Ponyville.
I love your use of bright colors, which has been kind of your signature, but somehow, whenever I think of Indian culture, I think that's kind of a given. And the smiles they give each other tells me they have rekindled their love for cooking as well as their love for each other. All I think this episode was missing was a Bollywood dance number (or something like that).
And I agree with you: seeing a different culture DOES create possibilities. It makes me wonder what other places/regions we might get to see in the future.
