Event: VWB Spring Spectacle training show
Horse: Benjamin Brown

Story:
When they had been called up for 2nd place in the Winder Festival, Caro had hardly believed it was true. It must have been a mistake right? Benji couldn’t possibly have placed second? But it wasn’t a mistake, and it only dawned on her when they rode the victory lap around the arena. This boosted her confidence and hope. Perhaps with more hard work Benji would finally become the show horse they had thought he would be?

It was only a few months later that Caro decided to enter yet another show with Benji. She knew the best thing would probably be to do some more training with him, both from the ground and in the saddle, but when Vinstra Stud hosted their spring show, she couldn’t resist.

She was so overjoyed that Benji finally showed his true potential, and a part of her wanted to -no needed- to see if it had just been a lucky shot, or if he would manage to place again. So they headed back to Vinstra to compete once more. She promised herself that after this one, she would take her time to really train him before entering him in another show, they both needed that.
