Yesterday LeenaZenyo , Miscolored and I settled for a movie and watched When Marnie was There by Ghibli. We didn't RP this but it was nice hanging out with them, I couldn't help myself from drawing it with our GG characters. XD I actually wanted to watch The Boy and The Beast but couldn't find it... Maybe next time with the whole group?
Short notice: I will not be active around social medias around the weekend, I'll catch you guys on Monday!

i love your work its adorable but not in a bad way,this looks like a scene from an anime or cartoon show which you should definitely aim for one day.also each character in this piece evokes their own personality and style, i dont know if they already have names or if you plan on expanding their profiles but you should. im trying to look for something that you did wrong like improper use of shading but im not an experienced artist and can hardly come up with anything.also i cant tell if the tree behind the movie thingy is outside or inside the tent.

Vision: 3.5
This work is very colorful and the lineart and expressions are done well. I also think the lighting was well done. My only criticism for the coloring is how everything seems to melt in? If i were to look at this from far away, its hard to discern the characters from the background. For instance, the boy on the far right and what he's sitting on. Closer to the front, the purple becomes more pink and this light color doesn't contrast the yellow pants he has on. It seems to blend right in. So in parts of the drawing, things seem to be fading away or blending in with their backgrounds, whereas contrast might have added a bit of focus on the foreground. Similarly the character to the far left: the dark green hat blends in with the blue couch.
Originality: 3
Its a simple theme: the characters are watching a movie together. What I love is the individual character designs and reaction to what they are watching. Its not as if all the characters are doing the same thing. They have different responses.
Technique: 4
I think for the most part the shading and lighting was well done. The quality of the lineart is beautiful. This is sort of just a personal opinion, but maybe varying the thickness of the lines in some places would have added more depth to the drawing overall? I feel it would have helped separate the foreground with the background better?
Impact: 4

I meant to draw each character as we responded to the movie but I doubted this sort of movie would be Dotty/Betta's thing XD but I'm glad you like it nevertheless! And thanks for your concern, our area only received a bit of rain and some aggressive winds but nothing too dangerous. ^^

I think you got them down pretty good XD
They would like the colors, but they would be more of the type to be on the edge of their seats watching a cartoon or actiony movie. ^o^
I think Dotty try to watch it though because everyone else is reacting to it so much, but he'd drift off into random thought ever now and then. He'd probably tune in a bit on the dramatic parts but would be confused about the characters throughout most the movie.
Of course I like it everyone looks great and I like the little details like the lil plushie on the table, the shoes in the corner, and the scuffs and tears on the furniture.
Also this gives me a better idea of what the club house looks like on the inside (+=+)b
