I guess if I were to critique it, I would suggest making the colors pop out more. In this picture seems to blend and mesh together at a first glance. Not the stuff that is supposed to blend, like the colors on the angler's skin, it's just some of the details are hard to make out. Maybe you can make the colors more vivid or make bolder outlines? But really, it's not that big a deal. I hope this makes sense to you. I'm not good at explaining.
Overall I love this picture. Especially the detail in the Angler King's mouth. The shading is great. The use of all the colors in the picture is fantastic, and I just appreciate all the details you put in it, like the angler's spikes and surrounding shadow fish (is that what they're called? I don't know).
I'm not a professional artist, but those are my thoughts. Hope This Helps.

I agree with you on the colours, paint isn't my strong point, but your mention on making the colours pop more gives me a idea on what I could do to fix that, any maybe I should've use my smallest brush on the small parts, I mostly wanted to see how the picture would turn out if I made a lighter, thinner outline too.
I am really glad to see that the mouth cam out ok, especially with the mouth.
(and yes they're called shadowfish.)

It always kind of bothered me how the Angler King, anatomy wise, was obviously a female Anglerfish. I mean did the developers at 5th Cell just pick the species that looked cool without understanding anything about them?

Or who knows... Maybe 5th Cell was actually being clever, and the Angler King was a king in the same way Queen Jadwiga was crowned as a king by the Roman Catholic Church. Medieval people were very weird.
