Transformers G1 fan art.
Metroplex character study sheet 1 showing front, back, and weapons view. This is a art trade request from talented and who has done my request of the Protectobot members.

This is the actual first detailed character study sheet I have done for Metroplex which I really enjoyed doing for my friend and helped me understand more of Metroplex's details.
I want to say thank you very much to 100SeedlessPenguins for requesting this character since I gained from drawing Metroplex.

Very nicely done in semi-isometric, clean style. I can see the effort and time put into the details. Metroplex really is a timelessly great design.

That's the word I like to use for these studies "semi-isometric". I'm glad you noticed the time and effort that I went through to make this. With mainly my character studies I know I want to clean them up since it is for everyone to use as a reference guide and make it clear to see.

Good contribution. Yeah, good references are hard to find, usually needs some digging, and then usually some improvisation when said reference doesn't exist. Always good to contribute to the masses via tutorials and references! Even if you don't get thanked for it, somebody somewhere is happy cuz it exists.

Very much agree with you there! My goal is to improve and share with people who understand the characters in their own respective ways and if anything else help them a long the way which is rewarding in a gratifying way. Yes very true I feel very pleased with myself to able to have some kind affect on people. Thanks again for your more extensive kind comments!

this is sooo flipping awesome !! i just logged on a few minutes ago and BAM ! you upload these just as i was about to close my browser . what a cool surprise ! this is going to be one of my coolest robots . thank you so much for making this for me . it is such a huge help to have these images . .. you know , after you finish Moonracer (take your time , i'm not trying to rush you ) if you want to draw some of your other favorite characters - i'll build them !

Haha sounds like It was good timing for me to upload as I wanted to finish them before I rolled off to bed.

You know it was my absolute pleasure! What made it more worth doing was seeing what you gave back to me which made me want to do my best to give a nice gift back so I respect you and I'm glad these will help you!

Yes it's ok I have so much more art to finish I just can't do them all at the same time and need to concentrate more first on what I'd like to do then finish up onto the next drawing.

Excellent I think we make a great team using our styles together, we can almost make toys out of our talents haha.

funny . you uploaded them then went to sleep and i haven't slept since you uploaded them i'm exaggerating but i really have been staying up late trying to make this guy . while working on Metroplex i'm realizing more accurately how much time you spent on these images and how much skill you have . there are so many small details . i just want to say thanks again . you are so awesome ! we do make a great team . and i would be happy to work with you again any time

Haha I know that feeling when you see something that grabs your interest you have to connect with it and I'm real glad that you have come to see how much effort I did put into the details because it's true. As I was drawing all details off Metroplex I was just hovering around the toy a lot as well as good reference images to compliment the right accurate details from the cartoon and toy which I found so fun as I've wanted to do draw this titan.
