...it was supposed to be some sort of rattle or children's toy...it evolved into this as i was drawing it...i shall research the drill pecker and try to re-create it- it sounds suitably macabre and fascinating...

This one's getting fav'd, tho. He's so cute! I love horses, even sort of freaky angry horses which look like they might be some sort of bio-machine. One of these day's I'll have you draw me a drill-pecker which is a species of self-replicating machine-birds descended from household tools. It fills the evolutionary niche currently occupied by organic woodpeckers but feeding on the tiny robots that live around large photon-gathering machines.

....i will endeavour to draw a drill pecker in the manner you have described. this may take a while....i have some ideas but they need to be sketched out first...stay tuned...
