Here is an interesting piece that I finally got to finish recently and decided to show now. This is the other of the two drawings (the other being Dragonfire Sonic & Dragonclaw Tails) that I wanted to have finished earlier, but couldn't. This was meant for May 4th, but I ended up replacing it with my lightsaber drawing. Once again, I couldn't wait a whole year just to show it.

So here I'm depicting Sonic as a Jedi Knight and Tails as his apprentice.

The process of this drawing was different. I barely used any references and made it mostly from scratch. Doing the lightsabers was different from my other lightsaber drawings. For those drawings I mainly used a gradient tool behind the white blade to give the light effect. This time there's more than one and at angles. So I had to use a glow brush tool to create the blades themselves, but carefully in order to make each stroke smooth and not end pointy or off. I actually had a difficult time deciding what colors the characters should have. I wanted them to match their personalities since that's basically what the colors of lightsabers represent. I won't go into detail of what all the colors mean, but I thought suitable colors for Sonic would be either blue or green, and green, blue, or yellow for Tails. Ultimately, this was my final decision. But I'm open to any suggestions what colors would be suitable for them. I've actually been curious about that myself. I've also been trying to think of their hilt designs. These were the best I could think of, but I think I might change them if I end up doing it again. Another thing, their attire. I think I did a good job with them. Although, I wonder if I tried my best with redesigning Sonic's shoes.
