Egad, what is it with femmes cocking their hips like that? Is it base programming? It's so annoying in the best way. Nearly every time they stand casually they fall into that pose. As if to say, "Oh, by the way, I am a female. I didn't want you to forget." I think I might have trouble being around her, or Arcee for that matter.

Oh boy, I hope it's not rude to ask you a few questionsΒ Γ³wΓ²
Do you sculpt her in Zbrush and make later a retopo in maya, or do you make models like her from the beginning in maya?
And I wonder, Do you make some parts from her armor individually and put them later together on the "main model"?
And do you have any Tutorials or could you make one or two in future? Because I am still a big rookie, especially in rigging and UVmapping... x_x~

i actually do everything in maya.. and i do texturing in photoshop.. and i do everything in one scene, not separate scene..

All these details must be a lot of work, how much time do you need to make one?
And can you recommend some tutorials?

well, typically, one model took 1 month to make ( with all of those slacking and hiccups ) but in case of my Elita One Beast Hunter, she took me 2 months because she can transform..

Okay, then I think, I'm going to take a look at maya.
I've only worked with 3dsmax and zbrush yet (and a little bit with blender)..
I know you can make basically any model with any program, but I heard uvmapping and rigging is more pleasant in maya,
so I'm sure it's helpful to get some knowledge about it.

Wow, I really enjoy your design of Elita! This design definitely screams Prime, with the detailed mix of colors, which by the way I really love the black & pink used for her. I also like how her tires hang off of her shoulders, and especially her head design. I know if I ever get around to making my own design of Elita, I'm gonna have this version of her in my mind!

i'll be honest to you... for me, my favourite is actually my Beast Hunter Elita.. not this Elita.. simply because she has more of her G1 vibe to it.. especially the head..

Makes sense. I'll be honest too, the Prime series was my first transformers series I finished, so i haven't really seen a version of Elita in action, aside from seeing a few scenes of the one in Animated. Plus, I'm used to seeing Prime designs more than G1 designs, so I like them more. However, I've read about Elita, and considering how few girl bots are in there ( plus there's no pink bot!) it would've been cool to see her in on team Prime.Β
