Description This is a really hard bird to find an take picture of, you could say its a shy bird, but this wild bird wasn't really shy of the cars passing by the dirt road next to her (or him).
I have been trying to take a descent picture of this bird for months, and finally i could get one.

cool bird & cool shot. At the risk of being a total pedant- it's not a falcon. It's a caracara.

thanks was having a bit of difficulty trying to find out what bird this is, it looked a lot like a falcon...

they do have falcon-like wings (long vs shorter/wider)& they are a little unusual- were you in S. America?
