Plot:

Sonic and Tails are attacked by Eggman, who was trying to steal their Chaos Emerald. The battle looked bleak, until the unexpected arrival of Silver and Blaze from their alternate dimension/future, caused Sonic to give Eggman a hard over do beating. After the battle, Silver and Blaze ask for Sonic and Tails' help to fight an evil robot hedgehog called Dark Vortex. This robotic tyrant had stollen the Sol Emeralds and now he seeks the Chaos Emeralds in order to become the supreme ruler of the universe. Sonic and tails decide to help them out, aswell as Amy and Cream. Now, a battle for the Planet Mobius itself and the rest universe is about to begin.
