Aw, that's all it took? Lucky! I spend HOURS erasing all my smudges and rough lines. It's a real pain. I guess bumping up the contrast works but I hate losing lines in the process.
This looks very nice and clean though so I'm glad it worked out. Front of the ribs and the pelvis are pretty fantastic. I like the cross hatching look of it.

Thanks carlos! Yeah, I bumped up the levels using photoshop, my scanner scanned it pretty light.
