Emrina Suokas was a human female who served as a naval officer in both the Galactic Empire and the First Order. She was the daughter of Marcos Suokas , an officer in the Imperial Security Bureau; and niece of Timothy Suokas , who served as an agent in the same agency.

Emrina Suokas was born and raised in the Corsucant the Capital world of the Galaxy, during the early reign of the Galactic Empire. His father Marcos was high-ranking officer of the ISB. Following her father's example, Emira trained to become a soldier of the Empire, and to that end attended the Imperial Academy on Coruscant, the Imperial capital world.

sometimes before 1 BBY, Emir's life was revolutionized when his father, who was the head of the ISB in Moorvam sector, was killed in an rebel ambush. After the death of his father, his uncle Timothy Suokas, who was a dreaded ISB Agent, took him on his wings. Due to the death of his father and the influence of his uncle, as well as the propaganda taught at the Academy, Emir was a fanatical follower of the Empire, thinking the Rebels as traitors to the Empire and never once questioning its intentions. She eventually became an officer and rose to a captain of her own Star Destroyer.

Following the Empire's fall which led to the rise of the New Republic at the conclusion of the Galactic Civil War in 5 ABY, Suokas was a part select group of Imperial loyalists who flee into the Unknown Regions and formed the First Order and became an officer within the new militant faction. She eventually rose to rank of Commodore and became the captain of the Star Destroyer Acklay II. She also gave a birth of two child; a son Dragos and daughter Zlata , who became officers of The First Order Security Bureau, it's intelligence agency.
