In The First Battle, He appears in Onett, in a robot-like device and introduces himself. Before starting to battle them, she eye-contacts Paula, falling in love, then notices Ness, seeming to think that he is his girlfriend, causing his jealousy. Last, looking at Jeff, to think he's more intelligent than him. Causing his jealousy to increase. After a "bad" battle, he fleas away, reporting J.R about the event.

In The Second Battle, He appears in Happy Happy Village at the entrance of the cavern of Lilliput Steps, in a device (referencing to the Undergrunt Mole's weapon from Super Mario Galaxy). During the battle, the ammo shoots out baseballs, much of triggering Ness' enthusiasm and favoritism of his favorite sport. Ness, energized, restlessly batting the baseballs back to Cyan Kid until he's ultimately defeated. Before fleeing away, he "flings" an ominous chip to Paula somewhere around her, thinking that she was bitten by a mosquito.

In The Third Battle, He then appears to a depressed and heartbroken Ness close from the long path to Twoson from Onett. it comes face-to-face to Ness and Cyan Kid in a squid-like device. During the battle, Ness is barely fighting due to the hurt of feelings by Paula (unaware that this is actually a trick by Cyan Kid.) Later on, Paula appears the fight, temporarily interrupting the fight to apologetically reconcile Ness and revealing him the real deal. This brings back up Ness' spirit into facing Cyan Kid. After the battle, defeated, Cyan Kid became very upset, whining of how Ness keeps winning and Paula likes him more than he does. Paula suddenly reached her breaking point, and out loudly (in publicly, as everyone watches the scene) admits of Cyan Kid's actions, How he made her hurt Ness' feelings, and totally admitted that he loved Ness and willing to be with him for a long time. Heartbroken and underestimated by words, Cyan Kid leaves, possibly losing love interest to Paula. During as he fleas, he sees almost far away of Ness comforting Paula, increasing his rivalry and unfairness.

In The Fourth Battle, Cyan Kid confronts Jeff first, in a Stony-like device (that I couldn't describe), shortly Ness, Paula, Poo, Protag #2 and N.R appeared. When he eye-contacts Paula, this time he is vengeful and wanting to hurt her more often. later on the toughen battle, N.R steps into battle. Cyan Kid childishly mocks him, causing him to use an extremely overpowered attack to Cyan Kid, instantaneously destroying his entire device. Shocked that N.R is much more formidable like his Boss, Cyan Kid unceremonously fleas in fear. Allowing the team to process.

In The Last Battle, Cyan kid is the first boss in the J.R Tower to confront. His device is much more stronger, and he hopes to destroy Ness, Paula, Jeff, Poo and Protag #2. (Except N.R, who he fears of.) After a roughen fight, Cyan Kid screams in horror as he starts to fade away in a disintegrating way out of existence. unaware of to tell the six that they couldn't beat J.R or those upstairs each floor.
