I took this picture during my lunchtime walk, He's looking at a bag with a sandwich in it.He may become a 'problem coyote'. Someone has apparently been feeding him (in violation of California Fish and Game regulations), as he did not run away when I kept my eye on him. Instead, he calmly shadowed me, finally walking across my path. I had no problem taking several photos with my cell phone.
He did not growl or get aggressive, and as I moved on, he got out of the way and went back to hunting for ground squirrels.
Update: I think someone taught him to stay away from humans.
