Description
I got a call today from a friend in the Lidingö Wildlife Rangers about a Seal that was behaving in an odd manner near Bosön. I was picked up and we headed out to have a look at the Seal in question.
It is only the third time I've seen a Seal in the Wild and meeting this fella was fun. He was not shy at all but seemed in good enough condition. We found no trace of a reported wound and by talking to witnesses we found out he was probably around a year old and that the local waters was filled with herring. Combined with the human activity in the area, our guess was that he was simply used to it by now.
A wait-and-see approach was adopted and I am glad I did as much see as possible; especially through my camera lens !
