I was wondering.. You are taking so many beautiful shots of animals, when you take the picture are you near them or do you have to take the big zoom so you don't scare them, or do you have to approach them really slowly?

Combinations of all 3 really.. it depends on how protective the mother is feeling at the time..sometimes she is happy for them to come closer and interact almost. Other times she takes them away. A lot of the time you stand there till they don't mind so much.
