Description “They were going well, the light grew better and a yellow signal appeared ahead. ‘Distant signal-up,’ thought Henry, ‘caution’. His Driver, shutting off steam, prepared to stop, but the home signal was down. ‘All clear, Henry; away we go.’ They couldn’t know the points from the main line to a siding were frozen, and that the home signal had been set at ‘danger.’ A fall of snow had forced it down.” The Flying Kipper is one of my most favorite Railway Series stories and one of my all-time favorite Thomas episodes, because of the atmosphere, the music and that magnificent crash scene, however horrible it must have been for Henry.

Thank you, when I draw trains from a perspective, I have to trace over still photos that I use as a reference, but not all the way, just a tiny amount, just enough to make the track gauges (the distance between the two rails) just right, then I do it free-handed the rest of the way.
