Tony Stark was an egotistical billionaire before being kidnapped by the Ten-Rings and forced to make a missel. He escaped using a mech suit which would become the inspiration for the Iron Man armor which he used to fight crime and join the Avengers.

So, on his design, I wanted him to look like the iconic Iron Man mark 3 armor. His helmet is stripped straight out of the Ultimate comics though. The grey circles on his chest, shoulders, hands, and knees are meant to be vents, because I imagine it would get hot with all the tech that's working in that suit, and Stark would need a ventilation system to make sure he didn't have a heatstroke or anything. The next 2 posts will be the last of this set of the MEU project for now, then we'd get back to the Spider-Man project. My plan is to have 5 Spider-Man characters for every MEU character. So a 5:1 ratio, if you will.
