Is it good for taking pictures/video of moving vehicles (cars, buses, metro trains...)? I'm getting one Thursday, but I want to make sure that the reviews I've read show a brighter side to it...

The video mode isnt great, the only thing that lets it down is the poor autofocus, it doesnt seem to know where to focus sometimes and can have trouble keeping focus on moving objects, sorry to say but some of the reviews are pretty accurate.

What do you want it do? Do you need video? I currently have a Nikon D40 and its a great camera! But doesnt have video mode :/

Its great for getting you into photography and is a great starter camera

i have my phones camera which is 3.2mpx , which is also good and my camera which is 10mpx which is ok...i prefer my phone cam cuz the focus is better.now ive decided i want an upgrade and better camera.
