At least The Meg (2018) and The Shallows (2016) gave shark movies some justice. I never saw 47 Meters Down (2017) though.

Ghost Shark hits me like a "Spiritual Successor" to the direction the Jaws series was heading by the end of it. The shark even looked like a more decayed Bruce.
