The Primarch "Rogal Dorn" was the son of the Emperor and Erda the Perpetual, the merits Dorn achieved by his own tactical genius earning him the nickname "Praetorian of Terra".
Separated from his 21 brothers by the will of Erda (mother) he drinks "Rogal Dorn" arrived in a capsule to the cold world of "Inwit" in the Solar Segmentum, Found by an old patriarch of a tribe of barbarians, the little "Dorn" he was fostered and raised as the grandson of the patriarch. (Dorn's adoptive grandfather inherited Dorn's knowledge of tactics, strategy, and diplomacy.)
As his ingenuity and skill as a Leader grew, the Young "Rogal Dorn" unified the tribes of "Inwit" and expanded the borders of his late grandfather until he unified the leadership of the matriarchs and warlords under a reign of technological and military cooperation. ; With the available resources of the entire planet under his command, an army and a space fortress like the "Phalanx" awaited "Dorn's" orders.
Just as he left the orbit of "Inwit" the Young "Rogal Dorn" met the great Crusade of the Emperor, Father and Son met again after 40 years on the deck of the "phalanx" and Dorn gave him his gift. ship to his father and the proud Emperor handed him the leadership of his own Legion of Astartes.
