Long before the stalemate conflict in the "Octarius Sector" the Imperium of mankind met the Tyranid swarms with iron resistance. 🔫
Concerned by the news of the attacks of strange aliens, the priests of the "Adeptus terra" consulted the Imperial Tarot to predict the course of this new threat, the result was "the great silent shadow that would consume the galaxy"; The newly sighted Tyranid fleet was called the "Kraken" and their strategy was to split their fleets to attack and gather food from various worlds cut off by the Great Devourer's psychic blockade. (Many calls for help went unheeded due to interference from the Great Warp Shadow.) 🐙
