Following their voracious appetite, entire towns and fortresses can end up crushed and swallowed by bites, removing rocks, wood and living beings that go down their esophagus and end up digested by their three stomachs where gastric acids dissolve even the best magical weapons. 🍴
Fortunately, upon satisfying its appetite, the “Tarrasque” returns to the core of the planet to hibernate for a period of 16 years without being disturbed until returning to the surface to feed again. Those who survive the titanic destruction may be shocked to form a prophetic cult of the goddess of destruction sleeps underground. (Even the fallen scales of “Tarrasque” can be turned into an absurdly strong shield.)
Finally, “Tarrasque” is an adaptation of a French legend where a holy woman managed to subdue a dragon-beast with her faith. 🐢
