It doesn't matter how much plot armor you give kirito, [Grasp Heart] solves most problems. Hell, even if we say he couldn't chant [Grasp Heart] before kirito reached him, Ainz has a passive ability which when activated at it's max level instantly kills anyone around him. But lets say Kirito uses ranged attacks, for some reason, it's still not gonna help him- as ainz has immunity to ranged attacks. Even if we assume that kirito has some sort of speed cheat, Ainz can use the same combo he did on Stronoff and Freeze Time+[True Death] just to make sure the little bastard doesn't come back. Kirito and his entire harem could fight Ainz at full power and not even scratch him, meanwhile Ainz just casually strolls throught them letting [Despair Aura V] take care of everyone. Meanwhile the floor guardians and pleiades just watch from the sidelines with googly eyes.

When you are dealing with someone who can freeze fucking time, then you are going to lose if you don't take appropriate countermeasures. From what it looks like, Kiritos "powers" don't extend far beyond what we see in the anime, and in that, he loses to a similar time stop/slow ability. Ainz takes this 10/10. If kirito is jesus-kun, the Ainz is the almighty god-king.

And lastly, dark magic hero does not suit the Supreme Being, the Sorcerer King, Ainz Ooal Gown. He's not the hero, even in his story. Unless you consider the one sides slaughter of 150,000 innocent soldiers singlehandedly heroic. Or perhaps you mean when he lured in adventurers just to test his security system?
