Now I like the Dark Knight, but it was contrived, plot hole ridden, and underwhelming. Joker felt more like Anarky, Gotham citizens come off stupider than usual, and ending was a total load. But there were good things: Heath Ledger's Wonderful performance, the epic car chase, good dialogue, and a nice Two Face design.If you liked good for you, but for me one fatal flaw that plagued the Nolan films: they took themselves way too serious. Why so serious?

It had to be though. I mean, they'd needed to make people take the character seriously again, they had to do something.

I loved the series, and the second film was the best of the three, but I still disagree with all this realism crap. It goes against the whole reason I like the comic book genre to begin with.

My only problem with the movie is that it was to long.
Heath Ledger's Joker was nothing like Anarky. Anarky is (in most cases) against killing and lethal weapons, and simply does what he thinks is best for the opressed. The joker just wants chaos and a world without morality.

I like the movie too...but I feel as though the only reason why people love it so damn much is 'cause of the Joker, if Heath Ledger hadn't died then it'd probably be considered another plain superhero movie.
