Gracious- Lanni is kind to just about everyone she meets, wanting to make as many connections as possible, Lanni tries to be consistently friendly and bubbly to set a good impression. She is quick to offer help whenever she sees another struggling, knowing she would want someone to help her if she was in such a situation.
Driven- Set on proving her worth in a pack, Lanni puts in all her effort and attention into any task she is given. Lanni is quite the perfectionist as well, sure that any of her work is above the standard, even if it takes more time.
Reserved- Having only ever consistently been around a few other wolves, Lanni had never learned to become accustom to a new wolf. now that Lanni is surrounded by a whole pack, she is learning to form new relationships and bonds, but is quite slow to let others in, worried they may not like who she really is.
Anxious- Lanni may bolster a confident attitude, but Lanni is riddled with worry and concern. She keeps her anxieties to herself and tries to hide them to the best of her ability, but many of her thoughts and actions are driven by her worry even if she insists she is fine.
Self-Centered- Stemming from never belonging to a pack for a majority of her life, Lanni has learned to fend for herself. She was really only ever concerned with herself since as she grew older, her siblings became more independent from each other and their mother, able to care for themselves. Every now and then Lanni catches herself in a selfish thought and has to remind herself that now she works to better a pack and not just herself.
Likes: Aimless adventures to unknown places, wrestling, rays of the morning sun shinning through the leaves of the trees towering above, rest after a hard day's work, conversations over a meal
Dislikes: Rain, her flaws being pointed out, being isolated, being stagnant
Motivations: Lanni craves connections with others and wants to fit in.
Goals:
Short-Term: Finding her place in the pack
Long-Term: Having pups of her own
Other:
Backstory: Lanni along with her two brothers, Remmy and Mell, were born to a loner, Clairy, that had left her pack in fear for her pups safety due to them being fathered by a male from another pack. Lanni never met her father but her mother told her pups the stories of the great Niko and made sure her pups believed their father was strong and noble. Having no pack to help care for the litter of three, Lanni, her siblings, and her mother often went hungry. Lanni and her brothers were often left alone, tucked away in dense thickets so Clairy could go out to hunt and scout out new places to stay if their current area had become unsafe. This left plenty of time for the young pups to become dependent on each other instead of their mother since she was often gone. At only a couple months old, Clairy taught Lanni and her brothers to hunt small prey, so the rare catch they would get would at least help the small family a bit. As the pups grew into juveniles and honed their hunting skills, the struggle to just get enough to keep everyone satisfied waned.
After an accidental run-in with a particularly aggressive pack that left several scars over their mother, Clairy resolved to teach her pups some defense in case she was not around to protect them and they could not run. Despite being the youngest and the only female, Lanni took particularly well to these techniques and often dominated her brothers when play fighting. For the next year or so the family were constantly on the move, Clairy teaching her pups vital lessons as they went along their way. The family was relatively content with their ways, but Lanni always felt a little off, as if something was missing.
When Lanni was two years old, her family stumbled across the cautious pack of Silvyn. Her mother and brother paid little attention to this pack, one of many that the family had passed by on their aimless journey. Yet Lanni wondered if the many bonds a pack offered was what she craved so much and was missing. She parted ways with the family she loved so dearly in hopes of finding happiness in a pack. Showing complete subordination, Lanni worked her way into the pack. Lanni sticks mainly to herself, just trying to get a feel for pack life and trying to find her place in it.
