Simulated Scenarios is a series where I draw the members of Arcanum as a part of a different universe - in this case, they are a part of the Hades universe.

I recently got into Hades (through YouTube, I haven't actually played the game) and the art style was SO GOOD I just had to. I DID have to do some research so as to not make them gods that are already in the game.

Alexandra Storm - Astrape, Goddess of Lightning

While Astrape isn't a DAUGHTER of Zeus like Alex, she and her twin sister Bronte, the goddess of thunder, are Zeus' shieldmaidens, and carry his Master Bolt when he isn't using it. It would have been a cool idea to make her Atlas, but I didn't think it would make sense to bring the Titans into the game...

Damien Coleson - Ourea, God of the Mountains

So, in Greek Mythology, it's THE Ourea, as in multiple gods, instead of one. However, Hades and many other retellings of mythology use a bit of creative license, so I thought it would make sense. Again, I would've made him Gaia, but it didn't make sense to bring in the Titans.

Charlotte Brand - Hemera, Goddess of the Day

There aren't many fire gods in Greek Mythology - the main one being Hephaestus - so I decided to go the way of light and/or the sun. A ton of people have already done versions of Apollo and Hestia, so I went with Hemera, daughter of Nyx.

Lars Forsberg - Pontus, God of Ocean Creatures

Out of all the ocean deities, Pontus looked the coolest. As always, I don't really have any info on Lars, and I think it's my fault for not fleshing him out as much as the others, sorry.

This art style is absolutely amazing, and I think I've learned quite a bit from mimicking this style! If you have any ideas on possible universes to port the characters into, please feel free to suggest them in the comments! I might do one for LoL, D&D, Legend of Zelda, and Mortal Kombat in the future.
