Description My version of Marvel's POTA 24.  This is an interesting one.  A few of these covers were altered in different countries.  The American version of this has an ugly plain yellow background.  It looks like the image was pasted onto the background.  Some of the international versions had this cover, which I much prefer.  I'm not sure why the change.   I'm guessing this was the original.

I was a little young when they first came out.  I became and Apes fan in the late 70s/early 80's.  A friend of mine had a few of the mags that he let me borrow.  I thought they were amazing.  Then I found 27 issues in a local used book store.  It was the holy grail of my Apes collection.  I still have them...and I'm still missing 2.

Oh my, I'm old!!! I can't believe how many times I bagged my Grandfather to go and see the Planet of the Apes! Boy he got sick of it fast!

I collected everything they had, Magazine, a cup. And Them I lost them all. My sister did get me Zira and Cornelius 12 in figures a few year back. I was happy to have them!! Take care!
