Description Start with as accurate as possible line drawing. I generally begin with 4H so I can erase errors with little damage to the paper. I then move to H and trace over it a little darker. I start drawing the eyes first. I then try to visually place the remaining features in relation to the eyes. I use the compass to help measure and double check where I’ve placed everything. One trick you can use at any stage of the drawing is to check your work in a mirror. This can really show where the flaws are.
