To make sure Naraj was safe to use and to see how much he'd bend a wish if he was like Jafar, he used his next wish on himself.

Naraj: "Hmmm...my master's such a little cutie."

Aladdin: "Alright hotshot. Here's my first wish. I wish I were as big as you are right now."

Aladdin then exploded in size as his clothes became fluttering fragments in the wind.

Naraj: "You didn't include clothes in your wish."

Aladdin: "Then why'd you leave my hat?!"

Naraj: "...I honestly thought that was part of your head..."
