Description
A full body picture of Koya. I've decided his full name will be Kota Koya, for story purposes hehe. But yes this is Kota, an escaped whelp from a royal magistrate. Used in an experiment by a whelp sympathizer who learned the truth of the Whelps and tried to help, but died tragically. Kota is the living legacy of the scientist's. He searches the world for a way to make peace with humans, free his people, and be with his best friend, the magistrate he served's son.Most of his people have tails but his was cut off and despite growing back some isn't much to show.

XD Must be rather hard to work with a mute character though? He can't even give the epic speech about freeing his people and bringing peace and justice! *is shot*
He could use an empath/telepath interpreter for sure.

The point of him not talking is to make it so that every action I have him do in the story speak louder than any words hehehe. And I've worked with mute characters before hehehe.

Well, I surely wouldn't manage to write a mute char... with visuals, expressions and gestures are easier to convey... but it'd take either a huge amount of words, or of telling, or both for that to work... especially if he's the protagonist and not just a sometimes character.
Their abilities are cool... surely can make for some cool giants, but it does make sense that those very same powers can be turned against them as they are right now. Of course Kota much more so after the experiment, I guess?
His story is rather sad, and I do wonder how he'll manage to change things.

Yeah it's difficult, but not so difficult if you keep the feelings and expressions brief. Like I did in my recent story I posted.
Since you're a wonderful writer and can pick up on subtle hints and I'm sure you're really curious. I'll tell you two hints as to how his story's going to go down hehe. Yes Kota is capable of much more after the experiment. The experiment had little to do with the body's structure directly. In fact the scientist's professional field was memories, and studying spirits and past lives. He kept a front as a biologist which helped a lot in making an alchemical and magical elixir that can help the body recall the pasts of the soul within. As I said Whelp is not the real name of Kota's race. Secondly, Kota Koya, the name. I used that name on purpose hehehe. It's no coincidence. If you figure it all out tell me in a note hehehe.
