When I am serious I always wish for a godfather/godson-like relationship for Harry and Snape. But I must say, Some Snarrys just melt my heart away...☺️ I love the mix of cuteness and snarking...sigh...

Yes a fall into ice-water is hard on the heart! I hope they get him warmed up quickly.

Oh, that sounds good! Well, I think it would have been great to see Snape fall in the water and trying to get up, if you understand what I mean.

Don't pay attention to the nasty comments. Harry isn't a brat and I really like the set-up here. Poor Snape--he looks like a human icicle! I also like the little girl. She obviously didn't realize how energetic she was either!

Why does Severus need to be rescued by the nasty little brat? He can fly out of the lake.

You're entirely right about the shock. The problem actually comes in part two, since Snape surely would have expelled Harry from his presence by the time he got to his own quarters.

May be true. Probably he’s granting Harry a bonus for not aligning himself with the Gryffindor-child. After all, Severus hadn’t many people in his life who stood up for him against Gryffindor attacks. He can still throw him out after he had a cup of tea, hot chocolate or anything else... Surely Potter would bring him what he wanted. Why not enjoy it?

Ok, even for Snape that was a little cruel
