I really like the depth of field and the slight monotone to things in this piece. I think you've managed to convey the softness of the fur and the subject matter very well, through the lighting and brightness...

It's interesting how the dog is so... poised, in a way. I mean, it's staring into the distance, quite still and all... it makes it a bit eerie, although I can understand why you titled it "Understanding" and all. It definitely has that look.

Yeah! that is exactly what i wanted to show, but I couldn't find to show any word to express that feeling of "staring into the distance". I thought about the title for a long time but this is the best I could do.
I think the photo shows how the dog is understanding the situation that its looking at, and that is why I chose that title. But I feel that it goes even further, just...didn't know how to express it.
