I think down the line, since Wendigo’s typically live and last longer, the topic of death would eventually brought up.It’s probably no secret that Lizzie will outlive Monty. It’s hard to swallow but I think that they both would except that they would have to move on, and focus on the time that they had to together.
Now, according to folklore and Wikipedia, Wendigos are usually created when a someone who is driven to manic hunger consumes human flesh or intense feelings of greed take over their soul.Another way is an overexposure to Wendigos.

In Monty’s case, I think overexposure probably suits him best. Mostly because he spends much time with Lizzie lol.
It’s probably little things at first like, maybe he develops som heightened senses and his strength gradually increases. Then the more physical changes take place, like in height and body weight.
He develops a taste for the forbidden fruit, eventually pushing him to seek help. Lizzie no trouble teaching him how to control his urges and hunting. Of course, I think in a way, she would blame herself for his transformation and even try to find a way to change him back.

Since LizzieAguilar versions display that Wendigos can switch forms, I assume that Monty’s simpler form keeps some of his physical characteristics but also develops new physiology as well. (sharp teeth, claws, maybe a tail??)

But in his more monstrous body, I like the designs where in place of his head, there is a skull. His body is covered in fur, and he towers above the average human. Maybe he’s a bit larger then Lizzie’s form but not by much. He obviously has the standard horns and hooves on the bottoms of his feet.

I’d say the first he reverts to this form, it’s rather hard to get a handle on his emotions since it’s such a new experience for him. He’d probability shift to a more animalistic personality at first.Of course, with some lessons and encouragement I’d think he’d be able to control his other form with ease.

Then they would have to break the news to his family and the one would be affected most of all would be Toffee because Wendigo’s suffer from a curse, and from his point of view, Lizzie cursed him.He’d probably demand that she find a way to change him back which would add on to her guilt.
Monty on the other hand, I think, would be grateful that he could stay with her for the rest of both their lifetimes.In the end, he wouldn’t change himself if it meant never being able to stay with Lizzie.

So it’s safe to say that he’ll stay like this for a long time.
