An updated version of this character that I did a few years ago, based on Roger Zelazny's science fiction novel, Lord of Light:jubjubjedi.deviantart.com/art/…
I decided to make this character androgynous instead of female like the previous version, it seems to fit the character as described in the novel better.
This is NOT meant to be a depiction of the actual Hindu god/goddess from tradition.

The design is good, but the body is little stiff. I would've had her either floating slightly off the ground, or at least posing/walking slowly.

True! As a concept piece though, I was a bit more concerned about the costume design, speed, and other factors, rather than a doing a perfect illustration piece. Also, she/he is in fact walking slowly toward the viewer and is meant to be robotic.

Personally I don't see it as robotic, but more so statuesque.
I think the thing bothering me the most is the left armpit area where it seems to cave in.

This is an extremely well designed sci-fi character! Excellent use of blues and purples, clean design merging organic and technological textures and a busy anatomy on top! Well done!
