Mmm...this one took a while lol. Though I spent more time dumbly staring at it than working on it, I should say. He's not an elf, or a superhuman being of any sort. Just a young general (of what, you're probably asking) from a different place than we are used to.

I'm strongly reminded of classical art, and perhaps that is what draws me to it and makes me love it so! I really love his expression, so distant and a little brooding, and the pose looks like something right out of a museum painting! I think the style and the shading of his clothes is also especially lovely, and there just isn't enough space to go into the praise this deserves!

Beautiful job on this! I love the attention to detail in his hair and clothes and so on. And he also reminds me a bit of some of the work by the "old masters"-- I'm not sure if it's the pose or his expression or what. Anyway, cheers!
