Description
Did a little shoot with Ila yesterday. Received a new outfit for her, and the snow was melting so I had to make some pictures of her fast before it was all gone.
It's a bit inspired on fairy tales, the one of Snow White especially. Or, a darker version to be precise.
I really like the darker fairy tale versions, with their harsh life lessons, and twisted shades.
A question kept cirkling through my mind; "How can something so fair be so foul", and the image of a perfect red apple, rotten on the inside.
You could resemble Ila to that apple. Ila, as cute and fair as she is on the outside, is not so innocent on the inside. Or at least, she won't be when she gets older. In this version she is still young, and it is unclear if the random and sometimes hurtful things she does are on purpose or by accident. And if she really manipulates, or just doesn't know what she's doing. So she is cute, very cute, but she has a shadow side that is un-graspable. There is something wrong behind that perfect little face of hers.
