Well maybe a little. I mean, who wants to admit they've had to dress up as a pig in a diaper for a bunch of kids? Nobody, that's who. I will bury select memories of such times deep in my mind.

*sigh* Lots of reasons. I used to like the idea, but then 6 years in...I had to get out.
The music did nothing for me, I literally was the alto section, the director wasn't good, and it was all about "WE'RE ONLY AS GOOD AS OUR WEAKEST MEMBER."
I was like "Oh hell to the no" and snapped my fingers outta there.

Look at it on the bright side: you got at least some kind of singing lessons, unlike a lot of other people who didn't (including me & I think my whole family) and still like singing.
And I may be wrong, but I think that's also how you discovered you liked singing. (And that might have been a reason for you to get that mic...)
