Description Pillsbury Crossing, KS

Deep Creek has etched the native limestone into several little waterfalls. This area was once a crossing point for pioneers...who no doubt also enjoyed its beauty.

This has been an old family gathering spotfor my family. My ancestors crossed it to get where they lived, witch is not so far away from it. I even have pictures of my grandparents kissing there.

This water is like a cloud
you don't have used a grey filter to obtain 6 seconds
with f16?

It was getting dark, so there was no problem using long exposures...a few minutes later I was at 30 seconds and f/8. I liked this image the best.

The curtain of faling water around the shot looks really fantastic and concentrates your eye down to the soft water and that patch of grass is so spikey!
