I've been thinking of the mountains today, so here is another from my off-trail wonderings in the San Juans last fall. It might be a little complex for this size, but printed big I feel the detail is just right.Related content

Judd, do you find that your digital sensor has difficulty capturing such yellows accurately?
If so, how do you correct this?

I really don't find too many problems with yellows...it's the red on some birds that gives me fits! The solution has been to process the RAW with a little extra tinkering to ensure the colors match what I remember (the individual color tweaks are usually the ticket).

Excellent....but you could paint this trees in background a lil'bit darker-like this-trees yust "yump out"from the background,and become part of the "first plan"
