Description I've been thinking of the mountains today, so here is another from my off-trail wonderings in the San Juans last fall. It might be a little complex for this size, but printed big I feel the detail is just right.

Judd, do you find that your digital sensor has difficulty capturing such yellows accurately?

If so, how do you correct this?

I really don't find too many problems with yellows...it's the red on some birds that gives me fits! The solution has been to process the RAW with a little extra tinkering to ensure the colors match what I remember (the individual color tweaks are usually the ticket).

I love the dynamic twists in the shapes of these trees. The textures, and surrounding colours just jump out at you as well, great shot Judd.

Excellent....but you could paint this trees in background a lil'bit darker-like this-trees yust "yump out"from the background, and become part of the "first plan"
