I though I replied to this already? Hmm. Anyway you have to run the skinned version of VLC from your start menu - then it will be skinned.

Can you give me some system info? i.e. what O/S? What version of VLC? Where did you put the download? What's the weather like where you are? Anything you can think of that might be relevant.

i actually figured out a way....instead of using the vlt file directly i extracted the skin and used the xml file and works fine thanks
its winter and really cold btw
