the first special edition double release ever! these outfits for shinnok and raiden were designed together & are inspired by a chapter of a story i've been working on for a very long time. therefore, you get both at once. enjoy!
for the curious: these are models #56 and #57. yes, we've gotten that far - and it's not over yet

RAIDEN INFO:
because thunder gods deserves to be comfortable, too! these new clothes are an adaptation of normal mortal wear, repainted to match the color scheme and style of raiden's usual armors. it has a sweater, pants, and socks and sandals (yes, really - look at his other outfits!). this has the same face, hair, and posing structure as all other raidens, and the turtleneck collar and sandals are removable. have fun!

SHINNOK INFO:
here's a new mortal-style outfit for our favorite underworld god! this doesn't quite qualify as casual, but it IS the counterpart to casual raiden - the outfits were designed as a set long ago, and they're finally here. the design paint-work, patterns, and color palette are remade in the proper shinnok style; his outfit is heavily modified and restyled from another game base, but everything except the embroidery is new. his face is the same as battle edition shinnok, with the simplified mkx posing structure for easy expressions. his jacket and boots are fully removable with disappearing shadows (he has a vest and socks underneath). have fun!

detailed info - raiden:
-there's nothing complicated about this one, luckily! he uses the same armature as his mk9 battle edition model, which i recently released. his hands, neck, etc are all properly attached and posable
-check the other readmes for info about his head sculpt/paint and hair - it's the same raiden, naturally
-the outfit started as a simple sweater and jeans, plus basic shoes. i removed the shoes and put together the socks and sandals (i had to) and layered everything together, then weighted it for posing
-this does not have any complex removable items, but it DOES have shading beneath the turtleneck collar and sandals straps - this disappears when the items are hidden
-the surface textures, patterns, and colors were done by me; however i was lucky enough to, for once, have items where there already were cloth dynamics. i enhanced them though with the usual paint work, so this is everything you'd expect from any other model
-preview pose included as casualraidenpreview.pose
-that should be all, actually!

detailed info - shinnok:
-all the work on his outfit customizing (cloth dynamics, surface textures, color patterns) is new & handpainted - there's also plenty of new sculpt work. i shortened the sleeves, made separate boots and socks, and re-fitted the whole model to match his mkx body proportions
-the model is re-rigged for proper posability in the arms and legs, and stands in the default mkx t-pose - feel free to use other pre-made mkx model poses with him! you may have to slightly adjust his shoulders, but they will work
-hands/arms match the usual shinnok look & are all custom painted for detailed bone and muscle structure. he has his usual arm markings as well under the sleeves
-jacket and boots are totally removable. he has complete socks and full shoulders and arms underneath. don't ask how much time that took to do
-the vest has an open upper back since that's how it was originally designed; shinnok would absolutely wear it that way, trust me
-check his battle edition readme for more info on the face sculpt
