I rather like the backlighting effect; it makes the Captain stand out much better! Cool concept for a superhero too; I like to see characters that represent nations which are sometime under-appreciated in the superhero world.

I don't know about to bright, I think it adds to the aura of the character, and if I don't sound to cliche, a beacon of hope and justice(ok so it did sound that cliche) but still good work.

Captures the title of being Captain of a country's ideals. Ranks up with Captain Britian or Captain America. Ready to kick some ass. Seen some Captain's that are just insulting, but Captain Corea rocks.

For me? Yes, but I don't like bright backgrounds.
Too bright in general? No, the brightest adds to the effect. It's got that "Captain Corea just opened a door to whoop some arse" effect going.
