I've recently become obsessed with Jet Set Radio Future again. I wanna do so mUCH fan art goddamn. All I do is fantasize about how the gang lives out their lives. Where the hell do they sleep? Where do they shower? Do they poo????? ? ?? ? EAT?????? How they get money????Related content

Hey! love your drawing!!!!! I was thinking the same stuff and I came to this:
Corn and Beat are DJ's and work together, Corn is more the artistic music composer and Beat the party guy but they make a good team together.
Cube is a tattoo designer of course. She made her own tattoos and also a lot of Egyptian tattoos for the Immortals (what for... if they are all covered?doesn't matter cuz she gets payed anyway).
Jazz is a professional Deathball competitor, man she's the best at it.
Gum earns a bit of cash from skate competitions, her style is beautiful. She used to live in Dogenzaka but left home and now she lives in the Garage with Corn and beat.
Garam is a plumber, he loves the sewage!
Rhyth is urban model in Tokyo, many photographers want her.
Rapid 99 are dancers and own their club at 99th street. Sometimes they strip. They live in the club.
Clutch is in dirty business with marihuana, he has an association. He lives there.
Boogie is a singer, dude, have you heard that voice?? She lives somewhere in Kibogaoka.
Yoyo is NOTHING he's just a stupid kid
Soda i don't know, he seems f* useless, maybe he likes to race and speed and whatever about that.
Doom riders work in a motorcycle workshop. They buy, repair and sell motorbikes.

Super cute idea that Rhyth is a model! Even still suitable considering her younger age, love that. I imagine she's got sort of a similar style/appeal as Haruka Kurebayashi
Corn's a genius, he built roboy after all, so I feel like he wouldn't waste his talents on dj'ing. Def something to do with electronics and robotics
I kinda imagine, and this might be kind of a downer, that a lot of these dudes didn't finish high school let alone take up secondary education. It's a bit of a process to become a tradesman. Studying for a few years, apprenticeships, unions, tests, etc. I feel like it'd be a bit weird if Garam, a guy who dances in the sewers, goes into peoples houses in uniform to fix their toilets n stuff. A bit too civilian for me. But maybe he's just really dedicated to poopoo peepee and he's a total freak about it???
And! Fun if Clutch is a drug dealer/distributor/whatever but I think it'd be cool if maybe he were also a yakuza member????!?!?
It'd be kinda dark n sad if poison jam are just raping people lol. I feel like they're chaotic evil creatures or somethin? I feel like they're goof balls who do/attempt to do petty crimes or are in search of another evil monarch for their kingdom in the sewers
Maybe I gotta draw some of these...

oo man this is so cool! here we got a great bunch of ideas!! I really want to get to draw some of this. I love what you just said, especially about Corn, you're right, he's too smart for just a dj. True though, education is not one of their big qualities. I love the idea of Garam being obsessed about poo&pee, maybe he uses the sewage facilities to get access to random people's houses to steal¿? you know like Pennywise the clown from IT? hahaha

Maybe in 2027 their robots are advanced enough to be water proof? Now I'm loving the idea of Corn pimping Roboy out with all the latest technologies and upgrades, then sending him back out into the world.

Thank you! And I know, right? My favourite fanart of them are these two pictures crudely drawn in MS Paint or something. One is of them chilling at a diner and the other is of some of them playing scrabble. Seeing my favourite characters just doing everyday things makes my heart hurt! GOSH I LOVE THESE LITTLE BUMS
I imagine maybe they shower at public pools or bathe at onsens and they squat in abandoned buildings when they need to sleep, but who knows!

I seriously feel you on that, I am WEAK for my fave groups and characters in general just doing everyday, normal things. And YES I think those are some good explanations. I imagine the couch at the Garage is slept on from time to time as well, when Corn's not monopolizing it... XD
