I think Aleheather is an interesting relationship but for some reason I think Heather needs someone to ground her if she's going to date. Cody could do it and Heather could teach Cody to grow a spine. Al is more of a frenemy. Coderra is also a friend pairing. I'd like to think that this is what was intended in season 3, Cody brought out the good in Heather so I think that they would be a good couple.

Alejandro loves Heather, he really does. Heather... she likes him, and all she did to him was just for the game. Outside TDWT, they could be a couple.

Funny. I used to love DxC (I still do, no matter how dysfunctional and cliche they can get), but my new fav on the start of TDWT was, you guessed it, AleHeather!

Plus DxC, besides what the fans claim, was 100% predictable. I predicted the start of the couple based on pics of the campers(badboygoodgirl is such a cliche nowadays), predicted the type of on and off relationship nature from the first episode, and predicted their demise from the first episode of TDWT. Aleheather is awesome, and truly the only unpredictable couple nowadays.

THANK YOU! I totally agree. And it's not like DxC were every really opposites attract considering they're so alike personality wise. I was actually hoping for their demise to put us all out of our misery. I love AleHeather so much, and I love how they're so spontaneous and their relationship just gets better every episode.

Finally someone agrees! The fans are just like "ZOMG THEY HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON SO THAT MEANZ THEYRE MEANT 2 BE SINCE OPPOSITES ATTRACT!" Relationships like that in the real world usually end badly. Besides, they ARE very simaller. Aleheather was kind of beautiful in its own way. It was more in-depth than any couple this show has had. Remember when Alejandro shielded her from the exploding plane risking his own life? I was awwing for the whole rest of the day. I cant belive she betrayed him at the last ep. That took me by suprise, and was awful. I bet she will feel horrible. I would.

Nothing in common? I sure would hope they wouldn't because Courtney is a self-centered, arrogant, snotty, entitled, mostly not talented (although I grudgingly admit she can sing and is on rare occasion...attractive even though her personality is vomit-inducing 99.99999% of the time), cruel, hypocritical...god, I can give a long list of traits and times where she was horrible.
Duncan can be mean-ish yes and shares some interesting parallels with Alejandro. But he had (for god only knows what reason but then sometimes that just happens) really liked Courtney and she betrayed him (without even a hesitation) or bit of remorse (which made Heather's betrayal in season 3 even more shocking and stupid as Alejandro LOVED her). And Courtney only used Duncan for ego really. Kind of "how to make someone into what you want them to be" with a giant list and rules. I can tell you that is a bad relationship right now.
And you'd call what Duncan/Courtney had an ABUSIVE relationship. Just because Courtney was a girl and the guy was being abused doesn't change that. Force, threats, emotional manipulation, crying, trying to redirect it so that the victim feels guilty (Courtney's large breakdown on the plane), jealousy...
Duncan did everything for Courtney for a long time...and she treats him like dirt. I don't get Duncan/Courtney people seeing as there is some disconnect there since many of them are (usually, when you don't bring up Duncan/Courtney) smart intelligent nice people. But when it comes to them, many turn into RABID beasts attacking everyone who isn't them. They're crazies on every side, but the most vocal certainly are those rabid ones who quite frankly scare me. But then, psychologically, some people will try to forgive people over and over and over trying to excuse them and give them something to justify what is happening. And you don't talk abuse or step in which is also disturbing since it continues when all the people around enable it and the people involved usually can't get out alone.

I actually didn't because it was so much more than money for Alejandro by the end (it was personal) and Heather was warming up to him....besides, I never did figure out why Alejandro joined in the first place. It couldn't have just been for money. Unless he was some hardcore gambling addict in big time debt (which I somehow doubt), there is no real reason since his family's rich (assumedly, I mean, look how he dresses, talks, acts, intelligence, family members, etc) and he could have easily gotten more money looking like that.
Heck, I could see him easily swindling LARGE sums of money from wealthy people, banks, etc. It would have been easier and required MUCH less effort for what would have amounted in the end to a much bigger payoff. But, Alejandro likes challenges, much more than money (which became his prize that he was better than them all and the world knew it and he was only upset at the end because he lost and he at least wanted a consolation but he didn't even get that).

That is an interesting point. Alejandro could very well could have wanted to win for the sake of winning rather than just for the dough

The only thing weirder than Heather developing feelings is Gwen becoming the very thing she hated in season one by stealing the boyfriend of someone else, namely Courtney's Duncan!

Gwen didn't steal Duncan. She had feelings for him, him for her, and Duncan was irritated at Courtney. Gwen tried to keep the feelings buried because she DIDN'T plan on hurting Courtney (even if she was horrible but now was...scarily...nicer than she had been ever and was...likeable) but it just...happened. Somehow the door was weakened (one wonders what did happen to it, it is possible someone forced it to cause trouble or it was possible that Chris being cheap had an old lock instead of a new one that finally broke or something) and Duncan walks in and acted on what he had been feeling for a while...
And it isn't Gwen's fault for not breaking off the kiss. It is possible that she (might have) tried but then Tyler saw and Chris only shows the bad parts (like on aftermaths when they tried to paint someone bad by showing only the bad things in the worst possible light out of context). She might have talked to him about it or something. Because it is Gwen. She wouldn't have been okay with that if Duncan wasn't over Courtney or did it just to make her jealous or something.

OH GOD. I felt sorry for about...a minute. Because it seemed ALMOST genuine. However, she is such a little faker. Some of it might have been real, but there was no way she would have stooped that low if it was entirely heartfelt and even then she deserved it because of how she treated Duncan all of season 1, 2, and parts of 3. And then she tries some ridiculous plan to try to make Duncan jealous even though Duncan really wasn't and actually wanted t make her pay and embarass herself trying to make Duncan jealous by being with someone else...
Amazingly, she actually seems to like Alejandro which causes one to wonder...what the heck? Surely she must have known he didn't like her when he was with her...unless she actually likes that and actually interests her...which could be possible knowing her. Wanting someone because they don't want you at all even though they're willing to pretend to. Hmmm...

Heather is a little faker. Mean, yet, as Duncan said in season 1, she's kinda cute. I'm not saying that lesbian like, I'm saying it puppy dog cute. It's like another thing of Mean Girls.

That's what I like about Heather, she's the only truly unpredictable character on the show nowadays. Plus, she's so three dimensional, despite not actually being so. I think they're everybody's favorite couple now, hence the tagline

Yes. But I hear (if) there is a season 5 it will have the old and new characters from Season 4. And that maybe the old people might still have...some role? I don't know about that but the main characters yes are all new back on Total Drama Island where it all began, which is so cool.

Really? OMG! Thats good. It better have Tyler and Duncan XD Cuz theyre my faves! And it should have Heather cuz theres no Total Drama without her and Alejandro cuz everyone loves him and hes sooo hot! And id like to see Trent back, even though I dont like him. ^_^
