I thought I was the only one who was murdered by a cruel man, raised as a powerful and horrible abomination, subsequently crowning myself queen and dedicated my subjects to orchestrating my vengeance... But then I met Kerrigan!

The differences between the two is that Kerrigan regained her humanity thanks to Raynor, and even when she re-infested herself, she did so because she thought that Raynor was dead, and to her Raynor was and still is, the ONLY one who has ever truly given a damn about her, the real her.
Sylvanas however, she is entirely un-repentant, not only has she refused acts that could redeem her, but she has actually gotten WORSE over the years and is becoming more and more like the monster whom she once hated with every fiber of her being,Β Arthas, the Lich King.
