I'm trying to sketch a lot to keep moving and start drawing again and this came out of one of the sketches

I have a story about dragons and magic. Initially it was about this young mage, Glard, who swears revenge on his master for getting him banished from the kingdom and losing all reputation. And an arm. His plan is to use a terrifying dragon which had been sealed within a mountain many years ago. On his way, he meets a girl. Cassidy. She was supposed to be a background character but became just as important as Glard and her "side" story became a very integral part of Glard's own adventure.

Here she is standing bravely in front of a half-dragon who's convinced to be a monster and tries to hide his face. Shadow of a dragon looms behind them.
