A piece of Superman, Wonder Woman & Batman that I came accross at a forum after inked by Killerbee, and thought of adding my colours to it. Later of course I found out that my colours were too "light-themed" for the brooding-mood of the cover that's supposed to be there.

Too ... light? Your colors look fine to me. The expressions and postures of the characters are already so tough, that making the background dark would be excessive. Instead, your colors bring out the lines and make sure that every aspect of a nice drawing can be read correctly.

Not light as in contrast, but mood. Like more red and black would make it more "menacing" while blue suggests a calm mood, even with sturdy faces on everyone's face.

what a fine piece of art. in my opinion out of those three i say Wonder Woman is the most dangerous cause the other two do have limits and she does come from a war-like tribe. if she heard this she would rip my head off

I think the colors are spot on for the characters... the mood, if you wanted to set it could even be done with just a turn of the Levels and Color options in adjusting image...
But I like it though.

Yeah I've been hearing a lot about the mood.... This was a piece to which I knew nothing of the backhistory...people have said to me that there should be a red backdrop more than blue because it's a heavy mood and not a generic like I did. To me, the characters at the time just seemed very determined in standing there.
