Sooo I decided to start the new year with a new camera, and I am absolutely happy with it
I bought a new Nikon D5100, my old one was a Nikon D60 and the difference is immense! Not so much in the quality of the pictures, but the overall possibilities (I can record videos
). So this is one of the first pictures I took, edited in Lightroom, signature added in Photoshop. I might upload the Lightroom preset I used here, if anyone is interested?

Ah, but the D60 is really old. And I would assume the 3100 is similar to the D5100?

Not sure - I looked up tutorials the other day and I think I'm just going to have to watch them a few times and test it out.
Mostly just for the awesome focus-depth-blur-type stuff that you've mastered! It's the one thing that I really want to abuse this camera for but no dice so far lol
