Description Experimenting new tools on SAI Using brush to smoothing the face shadowing and chalk mode to create a scratchy look. I really enjoyed doing this piece. Also, my version of Maleficent is of the Angelina Jolie's soon to come movie !! Can't wait for that to come out!

How this wasn't too bad, I would love to work more pieces in this style !

To access the chalk mode, I don't know how to explain it specifically. However, under where it says "Density" for your desired tool/brush there is a box that says "(simple circle)" there is a "chalk" mode in that box

That's strange. I always use those options but never saw this Chalk version. Mine only has Spread, Spread&Noise, Bristle and Flat Bristle. Program issues perhaps. Still, it does look nice when used properly~

Thanks! Hm.. I don't really remember, but I might have downloaded different brush modes to get the chalk. If I did, it was more than a year ago. Sorry xD ! Maybe you can google "SAI brush" or something similar to find varieties of brushes.
